CoolSculpting® Procedure

Your body contouring specialist will begin your treatment by measuring the fat areas and examining the shape of the fat bulges. This helps them determine the suitable applicator for treatment. Once your applicator has been selected with the correct size and curvature for your body sculpting needs, the problem area will be marked and cleansed for treatment. A gel treatment pad will be applied over the skin to protect your skin. The applicator will be gently applied against the skin, and a vacuum will be connected to the treatment area to freeze and numb the region. Patients may experience slight discomfort at this time, which will quickly reduce as the area is thoroughly numbed. During treatment, you can relax during your procedure for around one hour. After this time, the applicator is removed, and your specialist will carefully massage the area. Some patients opt to have multiple areas treated at once and may choose to have an area treated with multiple sessions.

CoolSculpting® Recovery

After your treatment, there are no activity restrictions required. Patients may experience mild soreness; however, no extreme pain will be present. Any general discomfort should subside within a few days after your CoolSculpting® treatment.
