StarWalker® Procedure 

Dr. Nowak, a board-certified dermatologist, will begin your laser treatment by assessing your current skin condition and cleansing the treatment area. He will then provide you with protective eyewear and start your laser session. During your laser session, your treatment areas will be targeted with the device placed close to your skin surface. Optimal treatment results can be achieved with six to eight sessions every four weeks for the face and eight weeks for the body. Maintenance treatments are recommended two to three times each year.  

StarWalker® Recovery 

After your StarWalker® treatment, you can expect very little to no downtime. Temporary side effects can include redness, swelling, bruising, and pinpoint bleeding. Depending on your treatment intensity, all of your side effects will resolve in hours to ten days. You can expect initial darkening of your treatment area before your skin tone evens out.

StarWalker® Results 

Your StarWalker® treatment results can take some time to develop. By emitting concentrated light energy that is absorbed by the melanin in the skin’s pigment cells, the laser fragments them into smaller particles that are eliminated over time. You will notice your pigmented treatment areas will fade over time, allowing for a more even complexion. It is recommended that you avoid sun exposure to reduce your risk of developing damaged skin after the laser skin treatment.
